ANKARA, July 29 (AFP) - A bomb exploded on Thursday in the southern Turkish city of Mersin, but there were no casualties, Anatolia news agency reported.
The blast, which ocurred outside a building containing business offices, damaged two automated teller machines and shattered the windows of nearby shops and cars, the agency said.
Police confirmed the explosion but declined further comment.
There was no immediate word on who was behind the blast.
Underground groups, mainly from the far-left, have carried out similar attacks in the past on Turkish soil.
