SERIK - Turkish gendarmery seized 95 kilograms of hashish in Serik town of southern Antalya province, sources said on Wednesday.
Sources told A.A correspondent that gendarmery raided on a house in Serik's Berendi village after following the owner of the house for some time, and found and seized 95 kilograms of hashish hidden under bushes in the garden.
Officials said that the hashish had a market value of about 100 billion Turkish liras (TL).
The owner of the house was detained. The detainee told gendarmery that he kept the hashish since he was addicted.
