An Official Welcoming Ceremony Takes Place In Tehran For Erdogan

TEHRAN - An official welcoming ceremony took place in Iranian capital Tehran on Wednesday for Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is currently paying a three-day state visit to Iran.
First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref welcomed Prime Minister Erdogan.
Speaking at the ceremony, Aref stressed that Turkey had a significant place in Iran's foreign policy.
Recalling that high-level Iranian officials paid a visit to Turkey last year, Aref said that they envisaged a trade volume of 5 billion U.S. dollars in mid-term.
Aref said that recent regional and international developments including issues of Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine would be assessed during the scheduled meetings of Prime Minister Erdogan.
