ISTANBUL - First-seeded Elena Dementieva of Russia qualified to semi-final in the WTA Tour Istanbul Cup Tennis Tournament on Thursday.
Dementieva beat Jill Craybas of the United States 6-1 and 6-4 in the quarter-final.
Dementieva will have a match with Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan in the semi-final on Friday.
