Counsellors From 15 Countries In Rize

RIZE - High ranking diplomats from 15 EU member countries (serving in Ankara) arrived in Rize (Black Sea) on Thursday to hold talks.
Governor of Rize Kasim Esen welcomed the counsellors at the Governorship and held talks with them.
Expressing that thermal and winter tourism is developing in the region, Governor Esen said that Rize has a great potential in winter tourism aside from summer tourism.
Chairman of the counsellors` delegation Slovenian diplomat Marko Polajzer said that every year counsellors from EU countries visit Turkish provinces other than Istanbul and Ankara in order to have information on the regions and to closely get to know the regional people, economy, history and culture as well as to learn the future plans of different regions.
15 counsellors will visit north-eastern province of Trabzon following their visit to Rize.
