ANKARA, July 28 (AFP) - Two teenagers, aged 13 and 16, were seriously hurt on Wednesday when a freight train slammed into a car in the southern Turkish province of Kahramanmaras, the Anatolia news agency reported.
The accident happened as the car was attempting to negotiate a level crossing in the town of Pozanti.
Three more people aboard the vehicle, all believed to be from the same family, escaped unhurt.
It was not immediately clear who was to blame for the accident.
On Sunday, 15 people were killed in a similar accident in the west of the country when a passenger train slammed into a minibus as the vehicle attempted to get through a level crossing as the barriers were closing.
On Thursday, 37 people perished when a packed express train derailed in the northwest of the country while on its way from Istanbul to the capital, Ankara.
