BAKU - Gen. Ibrahim Acikmese, chief of staff of the Turkish gendarmerie forces, met Emcin Guliyev, commander of Azerbaijan`s border security troops, in Baku on Wednesday.
Fight against cross-border crimes such as smuggling, illicit drug trafficking and illegal migration was high on agenda of the meeting.
Guliyev also informed Gen. Acikmese on border security in Azerbaijan and developments regarding the Upper Karabakh issue.
