Thai Journalists Visit A. A

ANKARA - A group of journalists from Thailand who are touring major cities of Turkey and its press organisations, visited A.A and were briefed on its news services on Wednesday.
A.A Deputy Director General Ahmet Tek told the guest journalists that A.A was the oldest news organisation of the Republic of Turkey and briefed them on A.A`s history, principles, services, staff, and subscribers.
Muzaffer Sahin, head of A.A`s News Publishing Department named the three basic principles A.A follows in its news services as accuracy, speed and objectivity.
Later, the guest journalists toured different departments of A.A and were briefed about their operation.
The Tai journalists are visiting Turkey as the formal guest of Turkey`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Thailand.
One week after Thai journalists` visit to Turkey, a group of Turkish Journalists will pay a formal visit to Thailand.
