ADANA - An annual international film festival held in a southern province of Turkey will host numerous documentaries from all over the world this year.
A total of 26 documentaries from Turkey and various countries will be screened at the "15th International Golden Boll Film Festival" to be held in Turkey`s Adana southern province between June 2nd and 8th.
Six documentaries will be screened for the first time at the festival.
The Golden Boll Film Festival was first held in Adana in 1969 and takes its name from the traditional crop grown in the region.
The aim of the festival is to present the films shot by young filmmakers living along the Mediterranean coast to film viewers, so that their creative and artistic efforts can be evaluated and thus provide a dialogue platform among the participants.
