Turkish Cypriots To Start Legal Fight Against Greek Cypriots

LEFKOSA - Turkish Cypriots would start an international legal fight against Greek Cypriots, Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said on Tuesday.
Talat said that April 24th simultaneous referenda demonstrated that Turkish Cypriots wanted a solution, but the Greek Cypriots did not.
Noting that the Greek Cypriots continued to say that ''it was natural for them to represent the state until Turkish Cypriots united with them'', Talat said that this was unacceptable.
Talat stated that the current Greek Cypriot administration was not the ''Republic of Cyprus''.
The Greek Cypriots could only represent themselves, not the entire Cyprus or the Turkish Cypriots, Talat said.
Talat noted that this would be proved by their long-term struggle.
The world could not tolerate unjust treatment against Turkish Cypriots for a long time, Talat said.
Talat added that nobody could talk on behalf of Turkish Cypriots, and stressed that Turkish Cypriot people would make their own decision.
