Turkish Professor Awarded With Japanese Order

ANKARA - A Turkish professor was awarded with Japan's "the Order of Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon" for his contributions to relations between Turkey and Japan, and promoting Japanese culture and language in Turkey.
Professor Mete Tuncoku from Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University received his award from Japanese Ambassador to Turkey Nobuaki Tanaka at a ceremony held at the Japanese Embassy on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, Tuncoku was awarded with two another Japanese orders.
Tuncoku told the ceremony that he would continue to work for promoting Japanese culture and language in Turkey.
