Bush Says Turkey Is A Prosperous Modern Democracy

WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. President George W. Bush described Turkey as a prosperous modern democracy.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum meeting in Egypt's Sharm el Sheikh, Bush urged Middle East countries to make reforms.
He said Middle East was capable of a very bright future.
"A future in which the Middle East is a place of innovation and discovery, driven by free men and women," Bush said.
"In recent years, we've seen hopeful beginnings toward this vision. Turkey, a nation with a majority Muslim population, is a prosperous modern democracy," he told the global policymakers and business leaders.
