MOSCOW - A Turkish musician gave a concert in the Russian capital of Moscow on Sunday within the scope of "Turkish Cultural Year" in Russia.
Turkish musician and composer Emre Araci gave a concert featuring his composition "Waltzes with Sultans", together with the Russian "Musica Viva" orchestra.
Emre Araci is a Turkish music historian, composer and conductor who has been living in the United Kingdom since 1987. He has made original contributions to the scholarship of Turkish music through his pioneering research focusing primarily on the European musical practice in the Ottoman court.
