Turkey And Sudan Can Cooperate More On Oil & Oil Products, Turkish Businessmen's Association Head

IZMIR - The head of a regional businessmen`s association of Turkey said on Sunday that Turkey could cooperate more with Sudan regarding oil due to its increasing need for the product.
Mustafa Ozkara, chairperson of Young Businessmen Association of Izmir, said in a written statement that 40 businessmen from Sudan, who arrived in Turkey within the framework of a summit titled "Turkey-Africa Foreign Trade Bridge", held a series of talks in the Aegean province of Izmir.
Ozkara said Sudanese businessmen were eager to cooperate with their Turkish counterparts.
"Sudanese economy is based on oil and agriculture. Taking into consideration Turkey`s increasing oil bill, a closer cooperation can be established with this country concerning oil and its products," he said.
Ozkara also said that Izmir`s strong agriculture and agricultural industry constituted another area on which a cooperation could be established with Sudan.
