International Metal Workers Federation Hold Meeting In Northern Cyprus

LEFKOSA - An international metal workers federation held its central committee meeting in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Saturday.
The 26th Central Committee Meeting of International Eurasian Metal Workers Federation`s (UAMIF) was held in Girne, TRNC.
Speaking at the meeting, UAMIF chairperson Mustafa Ozbek said the federation`s primary goal was to form a Eurasian union.
"Our first goal will be to form the Eurasian Union which will make our countries stronger and improve the prosperity of our people," Ozbek said.
He also said Eurasia was a region which was home to the most ambitious and dynamic countries in the world.
Representatives from a total of 84 unions from 21 countries attended UAMIF`s meeting.
The federation has nearly 21 million members from all round the world.
