SHARM EL-SHEIKH - Turkey`s Foreign Minister Ali Babacan, who is currently in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt in order to attend the World Economic Forum, held a preparatory meeting with officials from the Turkish embassy in Cairo on Saturday.
Babacan, who will represent Turkey at the forum to be opened on May 18th, is expected to hold bilateral talks as well.
U.S. President George Bush and Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak will deliver speeches at the opening session of the World Economic Forum.
Heads of state and government, state officials, businessmen and representatives of civil organizations will attend the two-day forum during which the future of Middle East will be discussed.
The forum will be held under the theme "Learning from the Future".
