Turkish Band Wins Award With Folk Song In Italy

ISTANBUL - A band comprising of Turkish high school students won an award at an international festival held in Italy.
The band formed by students from "Kenan Evren High School" won the "Silver Dolphin" award at the "International School Festival of Music" held in San Remo, Italy.
A total of 80 schools from various countries competed in the festival held between May 6th and 11th.
The Turkish band played a Turkish folk song and won the biggest award in the contest.
