ADANA - A governor from Congo, who is currently holding talks in Turkey`s southern Adana province, called on Turkish businessmen to benefit form the business opportunities in his country.
Accompanied by a crowded delegation, Alphonse Ngoyi Kasanji, governor of Kasai Oriental province of Democratic Republic of Congo, arrived in Adana within the framework of a "Foreign Trade Summit".
Delivering a speech at a meeting held in the city, Kasanji said many valuable diamond resources were located in his province.
"Valuable diamonds are on sale at market places in Congo," said Kasanji, inviting Turkish businessmen to benefit from such opportunity.
Kasanji also said that Congo tried to recover from a recent war and Turkey`s experiences were of great importance for the country during such recovery process.
The African delegation, comprising of numerous officials and businessmen from Congo, will depart from Adana on Sunday.
