VAN/CANAKKALE/DUZCE/SANLIURFA - Turkish gendarmery seized 24.2 kilograms of heroin in Gurpinar town of eastern province of Van on Friday.
One person was detained in the operation.
Also, police confiscated 6 kg of hashish in a car in northwestern province of Canakkale, and detained three people.
Gendarmery seized 129.7 kg of hashish in three separate operations staged in Van; and detained four people.
In another operation staged in northwestern province of Duzce, police seized 109 kg of hashish. One person was detained in the operation.
Gendarmery confiscated 9.4 kg of hashish in two vehicles in southeastern province of Sanliurfa, and detained two people.
