CANAKKALE - The Panama-flagged cargo ship, which ran aground at Canakkale Strait earlier in the day, has refloated by its own, officials said on Friday.
The 78-meter-long "Baltic Forest" was navigating from Aliaga town of Aegean province of Izmir.
Turkish coastal safety officials said that the ship anchored and it would be allowed to continue its navigation after survey procedures were completed.
