Ceynak Logistics Wins Tender In Privatization Of Black Sea Port

ANKARA - Ceynak, a Turkish logistics company, won on Friday a tender to assume the operation rights of a port on Turkey`s Black Sea coast.
The company offered 125.2 million USD for the 36-year deal for Samsun port, which belonged to Turkish State Railways.
The deal would still need a green light from Turkey`s privatization authority and consent of the country`s top administrative court.
Earlier Friday, another port in Bandirma on the coast of the Marmara Sea, some 63 miles south of Istanbul, was put on an auction and Celebi Joint Venture Group offered 175.5 million USD to win the operation rights of the port for 36 years.
