ANKARA - Turkey`s main opposition Republican People`s Party (CHP) plans to open offices in Europe to institutionalize relations with European countries, a high-level party official said on Friday.
"We have been holding talks with officials regarding problems of Turkish people living in European countries, as well as Turkey`s EU membership process," CHP Deputy Chairman Onur Oymen said.
"But now we want to do it in a systematic way through our offices abroad," Oymen told the A.A.
He said CHP planned to realize its project within the framework of Turkish laws.
"Only governmental activities regarding Turkey`s EU process are not enough. Opposition`s views should be conveyed too," he added.
