ANKARA - Celebi Joint Venture Group (OGG) get Friday the rights to operate Bandirma Port by offering the highest bid --175.5 million USD.
OGG will keep the right, belonging up to now to Turkish State Railroad Administration, for 36 years.
The sale will be concluded after approval of Competition Board and Privatization Administration Board and positive view of Council of State.
Celebi Holding`s Business Development Chairman Umit Bozer said they were planning to invest 20 million USD after signing of the contract. Bozer said they were negotiating with a foreign company but refrained from revealing the name of the company.

-BANDIRMA PORT-
Bandirma port is located southern shores of Marmara Sea, about 63 miles from Istanbul and is a hub for bulk freight traffic in the region.
Having a modern infrastructure, the port has railway and highway links.
The port has a grain-storage of 34,000 tones of capacity.
