Turkey's Central Bank Rises Interest Rates

ANKARA - The Central Bank of Turkey increased interest rates on Thursday.
The Monetary Policy Board of the Central Bank had a meeting in Ankara and released a statement which said the bank decided to raise interest rates.
Central Bank rose the overnight borrowing interest rates from 15.25 to 15.75 percent and the overnight lending interest rates to 19.75 percent from 19.24 percent.
