Turkey - Bulgaria Joint Military Exercise

KIRKLARELI - Turkish and Bulgarian land forces conducted a military exercise on the border of the two countries from Monday to Thursday.
The Turkey-Bulgaria Border Squad Exchange Military Exercise aimed to boost levels of training and cooperation between the land forces of the two countries. One team from each country participated in the military exercise.
Turkey`s First Army was the coordinator of the exercise which contributed to friendship and confidence between the two countries, according to authorities.
The military exercise took place in Turkish province of Kirklareli and was aimed to protect bases, defuse explosives (including mines) and distribute humanitarian aid during emergencies.
