Europeans Prefer To Live In Turkey

ANTALYA - An executive on tourism sector said that Europeans preferred to live in Turkey permanently.
Huseyin Baraner, chairman of Europe-Turkey Tourism Business Council, told reporters on Thursday that Tourexpi --a web-site on tourism sector in five languages-- carried out a survey with foreigners who visited Turkey for vacation.
"We asked 3,732 tourists whether they would like to live in Turkey if possible. According to results, tourists would like to live in Turkey, especially in Mediterranean region," Baraner said.
Baraner said that Europeans found Turkey more attractive than their own countries.
According to results, most of the Europeans between the ages of 55 and 65 wanted to live in Turkey permanently; especially in resort towns like Alanya, Kemer and Marmaris.
