Turkish President Gul Offers Condolence To Chinese President After Earthquake

ANKARA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul offered condolences to Chinese President Hu Jintao after the country was hit by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake on Monday.
Turkish Presidential press center stated on Wednesday that Gul sent a condolence message to Chinese President, and expressed sorrow over death of many people as well as for the injured ones.
The epicentre of the earthquake was near Chengdu which is about 1,600 km southwest of Beijing. The earthquake claimed almost 10,000 lives.
