BURSA - Edinburgh Duke, Prince Philip visited Wednesday a car factory of TOFAS in the northwestern province of Bursa.
Prince Philip was greeted by senior executives of Turkey`s leading car maker TOFAS, including Mustafa Koc, chairman of the board of directors of KOC group.
He toured the body and press workshops and was guided by TOFAS`s industrial group director Massimo Rissi.
Prince Philip later proceeded to meet with his spouse Queen Elizabeth II.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip who are visiting Turkey upon a formal invitation by Turkish President Abdullah Gul, arrived in the Turkish capital on Tuesday.
They arrived in Bursa earlier on Wednesday and visited historical Koza Han (Silk Cocoon Market) and attended a luncheon hosted in the Queen`s honor. They also watched a fashion show and a Karagoz shadow puppet performance.
