Tusiad To Host Conference In U.S.

ISTANBUL - Turkish Industrialists` & Businessmen`s Association (TUSIAD) will host a conference on U.S.-Turkey relations in the 21st century in Washington D.C. on Thursday.
TUSIAD stated on Wednesday that its chairperson Arzuhan Dogan Yalcindag would inaugurate the conference.
Participants will discuss issues such as the future of U.S.-Turkey relations, energy safety and regional stability in Black Sea and Caspian regions and Turkey-Armenia relations.
Following the conference, a reception will be held for the 10th anniversary of foundation of TUSIAD`s Washington D.C. representation.
Also TUSIAD delegation will hold a series of meetings in Washington D.C.
The delegation will meet U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried and then attend a dinner to be hosted at Brookings Institute on Thursday.
On May 16th, the delegation will meet with officials from U.S. Council on Foreign Relations, Treasury Department and U.S. National Security Council; and have meetings with IMF representatives and hold a meeting with IMF Turkey Desk Chief Lorenzo Giorgianni.
