Turkish City Planning To Hold First National Sports Games For Asthmatic Children

ADANA - An association for the asthmatic patients in the southern city of Adana has launched a project to organize Turkey`s first sports games for the children with asthma, association head told the AA.
The project aims at raising an awareness about the bronchial condition and reaching out to the sick children to encourage them into sports activities.
The games are planned for 2010 and in the mean time the asthmatic children between the ages of 8-16 will be trained by coaches to compete in street basketball, badminton, swimming and athletics.
