Queen Elizabeth II Of United Kingdom Proceeds To Bursa

ANKARA - Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom proceeded from Turkey`s capital of Ankara to the northwestern province of Bursa on Wednesday.
The Queen was accompanied by her spouse Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip, and Turkey`s Ambassador to Britain Yigit Alpogan.
Queen Elizabeth will visit historical Koza Han (Silk Cocoon Market) and attend a luncheon to be hosted in her honor in Bursa. She will watch a fashion show and Karagoz shadow puppet performance, visit Yesil Mosque and Tomb and then return to Ankara.
British Queen arrived in the Turkish capital on Tuesday and visited Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Ataturk--the Founder of Turkish Republic.
Later, Turkish President Abdullah Gul welcomed Queen Elizabeth at the Presidential Palace at full military honors, and hosted a banquet in her honor.
