ANKARA - "Mediterranean Business Talks Meeting" which will help create important opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will begin in the southern province of Antalya on Thursday.
Turkey`s State Minister Mehmet Simsek will make opening remarks of the meeting to be attended by executives from State Planning Organization, Treasury Undersecretariat, Foreign Trade Undersecretariat as well as representatives from several sectors in 44 countries.
Turkish and international companies from the sectors of construction, hotel furnishing, foodstuffs, agriculture equipment, shipbuilding, textiles, leather and jewellery will participate in the meeting that will end on May 18th.
Representatives from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Germany, Albania, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, France, Netherlands, Croatia, Britain, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Greece and Ukraine are expected to take part in the meeting.
