Tender Process For A Moship And Two Ratships Begins

ANKARA - Turkey`s Undersecretariat of Defense Industry began the tender process for a submarine rescue mother ship (Moship) and two rescue and towing ships (Ratship).
The ships planned to be procured will join the Turkish Naval Forces.
Interested companies may be able to obtain files on the tender process from the Undersecretariat of Defense Industry until October 31st, 2008.
Companies from Turkey, Israel, Britain, Canada, Italy, Korea, France and Scotland are expected to submit bids in the tender.
Several Turkish defense companies, including Aselsan, Havelsan, Aydin Yazilim, Meteksan, Selex Communication Company and Vestel defense industry, have already received their files on the tender process.
