KOCAELI - Turkish security forces confiscated a total of 98 kilograms of hashish during their operations throughout the country on Monday.
Gendarmery forces stopped a lorry in the northwestern province of Kocaeli and seized 91 kilograms of hashish. They detained the driver.
In a separate operation in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir, gendarmery teams impounded five kilograms of hashish.
The gendarmery forces also seized two kilograms of hashish in the Aegean province of Aydin and took one person into custody.
