Turkish Airlines To Carry Chinese Fans To Athens

BEIJING - Turkish Airlines (THY) announced that it would carry Chinese fans for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece in August.
Melih Topuz, the director of the THY's Office in China, told a press conference on Monday that in accordance with an agreement with the state-run Chinese International Travel Agency, they would carry more than two thousand Chinese fans from Beijing and Shanghai to Athens via Istanbul.
Recalling that talks on the agreement had started in March 2003 and ended in March 2004, Topuz said Chinese citizens preferred THY because of its high quality services and flights in time.
