Ready-to-wear Exports On Rise

ISTANBUL - Turkish ready-to-wear clothing exports amounted to 4.3 billion USD in the first quarter of 2008, a report said on Monday.
The Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters` Associations (ITKIB) released a report and said exports to EU countries became 3.5 billion USD between January and March 2008.
Ready-to-wear clothing exports increased by 16.7 percent in the first quarter of 2008 when compared to the same period last year, the report said.
