ANKARA - Turkish state-run postal and telegraph services, PTT, will start to implement electronic mail (hybrid mail) system.
Electronic mail enables obtaining information on the items of foundations and institutions in electronic environment and their distribution from PTT offices, under agreements with companies, financial institutions and banks.
In an exclusive interview with the A.A. correspondent, PTT Director General Osman Tural said on Monday that through the hybrid mail, they aimed at improving the service quality in traditional postal services.
Tural said PTT would start to offer the new system by the end of 2008, "through this system, companies and institutions will no more think whether their messages are sent."
The mail system also aims at less costs and short delivery time.
