Public Offering Of Turk Telekom's Shares

-KILCI: TOTAL PUBLIC OFFERING IS 1.9 BLN USD

ANKARA - Privatization Administration Chairman Metin Kilci said on Monday that total public offering of the Treasury`s 15 percent stake in Turk Telekom was 1.9 billion USD.
Kilci said that the share, which had been reserved for Turkish investors, was increased from 35 percent to 40 percent after net results of demands were assessed. He added that the share, which was reserved for foreign investors, dropped from 65 percent to 60 percent.
Kilci said that they collected 4.6 billion YTL of demand from Turkish investors, and 6.2 billion YTL from foreign investors.
Kilci said that sale price of 1 YTL nominal valued share was set as 4.6 YTL.
Turk Telekom is Turkey`s only fixed telephone line service provider. (1 USD = 1.266 YTL)
