7th World Junior Taekwondo Championships

TURKEY WINS SIX MEDALS

IZMIR - Turkish taekwondo players won a total of six medals at the 7th World Junior Taekwondo Championships in western province of Izmir.
In women`s category, Furkan Asena Aydin won gold medal in 68 kg, Hulya Kaya won silver medal in 49 kg and Didem Basci won bronze medal in 42 kg.
In men`s category, Burak Eski in 73 kg, Celal Keles in 78 kg and Ismail Akkus in +78 kg won bronze medals.
Turkish national team was ranked the second in women`s category, and third in men`s category.
