ANKARA - Exports from Turkey to Germany, the United States, Britain, Italy, France and Spain increased 32.7 percent from 10,552,115 U.S. dollars to 14,006,903 U.S. dollars in the first half of 2004.
The Foreign Trade Undersecretariat officials said on Sunday that total exports from Turkey reached 29,367,000 U.S. dollars in the January-June period of 2004.
Turkey, which exports its products to 218 countries, made 70.2 percent of total exports to 20 countries.
Germany topped the list of countries to which Turkey exported the highest amount of goods. Britain, the United States, Italy, France, Spain, Russia, the Netherlands, Israel and Greece followed Germany.
