ANKARA - Turkey's tourism expenses became 620.3 billion U.S. dollars, and its tourism incomes became 3.2 billion U.S. dollars in the second quarter of 2004.
The State Institute of Statistics released results of its arriving citizens and departing visitors surveys for the second quarter of the year.
According to the results, Turkey's tourism expenses became 620.3 billion U.S. dollars.
The amount of individual expenses was 615.6 million U.S. dollars, and the amount of package tour expenses is 4.6 million U.S. dollars.
Meanwhile, Turkey's tourism incomes became 3.2 billion U.S. dollars in the second quarter of 2004.
According to the results of the departing visitors survey, 2.5 billion U.S. dollars part was obtained from personal expenses and 692.1 million U.S. dollars part from the package tour expenses.
A total of 4,746,791 visitors including 4,324,070 foreigners visited Turkey in the same period.
