More Than 150 Terrorists Were Killed In Qandil Region, Turkey's General Staff

ANKARA - Turkey's General Staff said on Saturday that more than 150 terrorists were killed in the air operation to Qandil region in the north of Iraq on May 1st and 2nd.
A statement posted on website of the General Staff said Turkish warplanes hit all their intended targets in a three-hour air operation on Mount Qandil in the north of Iraq.
"According to initial assessments, more than 150 terrorists were rendered inefficient and the operation led to panic among the members of the terrorist organization," it said.
"Senior members may be among those terrorists who were put out of action," the statement said.
