Invitation Extended To Turkey To Attend A Meeting Of Donor Nations Is An Indication That Turkey's Contributions To Palestine Have Been Noticed, Babacan

LONDON - Turkey`s Foreign Minister and Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan said Friday the invitation extended to Turkey to attend a meeting of donor nations to discuss aid to the Palestinian Authority is an indication that Turkey`s contributions to Palestine have been noticed by the international community.
Speaking to reporters in London on Friday, Babacan said that Turkey paid close attention to the Palestinian problem since its beginning.
"Turkey was present in all mechanisms established on Palestine in the past few years," Babacan noted.
"Turkey was invited to the meeting of donor nations to discuss aid to the Palestinians for the first time in 15 years. Such an invitation is proof that Turkey`s efforts have been noticed," Babacan said.
