Turkey A Prospective Fair Organization Center

KONYA - Turkey has been advancing on the way of becoming an important center in the area of fair organization, director general of a leading Turkish company said on Friday.
Ilhan Ersozlu, DG of TUYAP Fairs & Exhibitions Organization Inc., told the A.A correspondent that the fair organization business has regressed in Europe in the recent period.
"Fairs and exhibitions made remarkable contribution to country economies", he said.
New exhibition and fair halls have opened in Turkey in the recent past, Ersozlu recalled.
"Turkey has many advantages due to its location. The country hosted 420 fairs this year. It is a proof that Turkey is going to become an important center in this regard in the world," Ersozlu said.
