ANKARA - Number of flights from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul to Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran has been increased from the current 10 to 14, under a MOU signed to augment civil flights between the two countries.
According to the MOU signed by Civil Aviation DG Ali Ariduru and Iran`s Deputy Transportation Minister Hossein Khanlari, the number of flights would be increased as of September 1st, 2008.
The parties also decided to lift restrictions over cargo flights between the two cities.
