ANKARA - Turkish aid organization, Kizilay (Red Crescent), has sent 5 tonnes of foodstuffs to Sudan to assist the country in its struggle against famine and poverty.
The Turkish Red Crescent earlier erected a field hospital in Darfur province of Sudan to provide 500 people with a free health service every day.
The food aid was distributed in Nyala area.
