IRBIL - Turkish warplanes launched air strikes against the PKK camps in the northern Iraqi area of Qandil late on Thursday.
The strike began at 11:45 p.m. and continued after midnight.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a northern Iraqi security official said that a number of Turkish jets bombarded the area.
