PAMUKOVA - A total of three Jordanian citizens were killed and three others were injured in overnight's train derailment in northwestern Turkey, sources said on Friday.
Jordanian Embassy First Secretary Kays Shiqayer and some embassy staff received information from local officials in Pamukova town of northwestern province of Sakarya.
Jordanian citizens Idris, Manaz and Hala Nasireddin were killed in the crash.
A total 36 people were killed and 81 others were injured when a high-speed train derailed near Pamukova town. The train, traveling from Istanbul to Ankara, was carrying nine crew members and 234 passengers. The cause of the derailment has still been unknown.
