Israel And Croatia Offer Their Condolences

ANKARA - Israel and Croatia offered their condolences following overnight's train crash in northwestern Turkey.
Israeli First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Communications, Labor, Industry and Trade Ehud Olmert called Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim on the phone, and expressed his profound sorrow over loss of lives in the train derailment.
Meanwhile, Croatian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks sent a message to Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc, and extended his condolences.
A total 36 people were killed and 81 others were injured when a high-speed train derailed near Pamukova town of northwestern province of Sakarya. The train, traveling from Istanbul to Ankara, was carrying nine crew members and 234 passengers. The cause of the derailment has still been unknown.
