Operations In Iran Against PKK/Kongra-Gel

DIYARBAKIR - Iranian Consul General in Erzurum Ali Rezaghmanesh said on Thursday that operations had been continuing in Iran against the terrorist organization PKK/Kongra-Gel.
Rezaghmanesh, who is actually in southeastern province of Diyarbakir to invite Turkish businessmen to participate to Tabriz Trade Fair, made a courtesy call to Diyarbakir Governor Nusret Miroglu.
Following the meeting, Rezaghmanesh told reporters that they are eager to improve commercial relations between Turkey and Iran. Rezaghmanesh said that he had started a tour of 21 provinces to inform Turkish businessmen on the Tabriz Trade Fair.
When asked whether Iran would include PKK/Kongra-Gel in its list of terrorist organizations, Rezaghmanesh said that the issue would be discussed in detail during the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Iran next week.
``However operations have been continuing in Iran against the PKK/Kongra-Gel``, he added.
